ACM: Fellows Award: Daniel H.H. Ingalls
Grace Murray Hopper Award, given to outstanding young computer professional of 1984, based on one major technical or service contribution. Ingalls helped develop Smalltalk language and its graphics facilities, and designed the BITBLT primitive.
